Dr. R. K. Jaiswal, a renowned name in the Poultry Industry was born and raised up in Jabalpur and pursued Masters in Veterinary Microbiology from the Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur, MP. He started his career as a Senior Research Associate and Assistant Professor in Department of Microbiology for College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Jabalpur followed by Sr. Technical Manager for Phoenix Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd, Jabalpur.
Dr. Jaiswal, President, IB Group is associated with the group from the past 22 years and responsible for administration, training of Veterinarians, monitoring and effective implementation, and continual improvement of overall poultry management and production. His poultry network spans across the nation and he utilizes all available resources for the benefit of IB Group and associated poultry farmers.
He is a driving force behind successful joint venture of IB Group with the world’s best genetic in poultry company- Aviagen, USA.
In his career, he achieved various milestones and has been honored by Venkateshwara Hatcheries Limited, Pune in 2006 for services rendered to the Poultry Farmers of Madhya Pradesh State.
In 1989 he was awarded the Young Scientist Award by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology in its 4th Young Scientist Congress.
Presently, he is the President of the Chhattisgarh State Veterinary Council and honored member of the World Poultry Scientific Association, He is also a member of the Academic Council, Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu University, Institution of Veterinarians in the Poultry Industry.
According to him, He believes that today’s youth is the future of India’s modern poultry farming. Besides a good education it is important to have the right exposure in his or her field of interest to achieve leadership skills. Dr. Jaiswal has been travelling to different countries and places to experience and understand the standards, techniques and executions followed internationally for modern poultry farming.
